David Yrastorza, M.D.
David Yrastorza, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist who has been practicing in central Florida since 1994. He completed his pre-medical education at the University of Pennsylvania. Medical school as well as residency training was accomplished at the University of Colorado. Dr. Yrastorza was elected to the position of Class President of his medical school for three consecutive years. Dr. Yrastorza served as Chief Resident in 1993-1994. Prior to medical school, Dr. Yrastorza earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology.
Dr. Yrastorza is a member of several medical societies. He served on the Board of Directors for the Florida Society for Dermatology and is an active member of the American Society of Mohs Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgeons, International Society of Dermatologic Surgeons and Florida West Coast Society of Dermatology. He has been an author in published dermatologic journals.
Dr. Yrastorza received the Robert W. Goltz Award for excellence in dermatology and has been voted a “top doctor in Florida” by the Castel Connolly guide since 2001. He has been locally recognized as Best of Polk County, and received a reader’s choice award by the Polk County Democrat. The Lakeland Chamber of Commerce has recognized Dr. Yrastorza has “Small Business of the Month”.
Having lived in Lakeland for over 20 years, Dr. Yrastorza is active in his community and has served as a church elder, junior athletic coach and is involved with Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine and Young Life.
Hannah Vaughn, PA-C
Hannah Vaughn, PA-C, is a board certified physician assistant who has been practicing in Florida since 2016. She completed her undergraduate degree at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama where she graduated magna cum laude. Her physician assistant training was completed at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Hannah graduated from this program with honors.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatologic Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Dermatology Care Team.
Having grown up in Lakeland, Florida, Hannah is active in her community. She is involved in her church, teaches spinning classes at the gym, and is involved with Young Life.
